Shannon Cosner, Owner/Business Manager Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 1997. She is the Business Manager of NRTA. She is also a Developmental Special Instructionist with the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP). Shannon is a certified infant massage therapist and teaches infant massage at NRTA. She has been with NRTA in some capacity since 2004. As of July 1, 2011 Shannon and her husband Tom have been the owners of NRTA. She is also a full-time mom and chauffeur to their two beautiful daughters, Aspen and Rowan. . |
Carrie Bradshaw, MED Human Resources Developmental Special Instructionist Carrie Bradshaw, M.Ed. SpEd / Carrie works at NRTA in many capacities. She provides Human Resources at NRTA, is a DSI (Developmental Special Instruction) for Arizona Early Intervention Program. She specializes in play therapy. She writes the Newsletters as well as teaches BLS (Basic Life Support) and Article 9 for NRTA. Carrie also assists in the company daycare. Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Arizona University. She also earned a Master of Special Education at Northern Arizona University. She loves the therapists and families at NRTA. She loves the positive outreach and community involvement that NRTA is a part of, and the dedication of the therapists and staff. In her spare time, Carrie loves spending time with her family and her dogs, and hiking. |
Renee Williams, Front Office Manager Renee is a student at Coconino Community College and a mother of four children. She has worked at Northland Rural Therapy Associates since 2008 in the front office. Among the many tasks that she handles are answering the phones, managing authorizations, relaying messages to staff, billing and data entry, and greeting clients. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family. |
Priscilla Milligan, Accounting Manager Priscilla has been working for NRTA since 2007. Her responsibilities are processing payroll, processing insurance claims and payments, and tracking school invoices and obtaining insurance authorizations. Priscilla is a proud mother of 4 children and grandmother to 14 grandchildren. She is also the event and party planner for NRTA. In her spare time she loves to go to the casino, watch her grandchildren play in sports. |
Lindsey Epperson, BA Ed/SpEd
Quality Improvement Specialist Lindsey is a Quality Improvement Assistant at NRTA. Lindsey attended Northern Arizona University to complete her Bachelor's degree in dual majors of Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduation, Lindsey completed over 18 years in Special Education in various schools around Arizona and within Flagstaff. Lindsey works at the NRTA office and is looking forward to learning more and supporting this group of professionals as best as she can. Lindsey enjoys traveling, reading, camping, cooking, crafting, and being with her friends and family. She often is found in the company of her blue-heeler pup and a big cup of coffee. |
Sergio Padilla, Zumba Instructor Sergio Padilla has been a dance instructor for over 25 years. He studied at INBA Maximus School for Dancing in Mexico City. He has been instructing dance in the Ballet Folklórico de Colores for 14 years. He has taught at schools around town such as Marshall, MEMS, and Puente de Hozho. He has been a certified Zumba Instructor for 7 years and teaches at FAC. He teaches all ages and has a fun teaching style with a great variety of music. He currently teaches Zumba for the NRTA Young Woman’s Group and in the evenings to NRTA employees. Come join us for Zumba! |
Lizette Mellis, BA CS, MA HRD, MEd Developmental Special Instructionist (DSI) Lizette joins NRTA as a member of the Developmental Special Instructionist (DSI) team. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies. Afterwards, Lizette attended Northern Arizona University to obtain her Masters degree in Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood. Additionally, Lizette obtained an MA in Human Resource Development. She has been practicing for 6 years. Previously, Lizette worked for NRTA as a Service Coordinator for AzEIP (early intervention program.) Lizette specializes in ages 0-3 of childhood, is a native Spanish language speaker, and is a special needs car-seat technician and instructor. Lizette was born and raised in Mexico City. She has twin teenagers at home, loves to travel and ride her bicycle to work. She loves to spend time with family and friends. |
