Taylor Custer, PT, DPT
Lead Physical Therapist Taylor received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. She went on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. Taylor has a certificate in Disabilities Studies from the Institute for Human Development. She enjoys working with people of all ages, especially children and babies. In her spare time Taylor hikes, enjoys the outdoors, and art history, and loves spending time with her family. |
Robin Bienenstock, PT, DPT Robin earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT in 2008. She earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Vermont in 2012. Robin has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, early intervention, skilled nursing, and acute care. She currently travels to schools and works in the Arizona Early Intervention Program. In her spare time Robin enjoys hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and baking. |
Julie Bouck PT, MPT Julie Bouck attended the University of Utah, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master in Physical Therapy. She has been practicing for 21 years in a variety of settings, including PT with a children’s outpatient clinic in Salt Lake CIty (16 years), the Jodi Gilray Pediatric Clinic in Cottonwood, Flagstaff Unified School District and NRTA. Julie specializes in Idiopathic toe-walking, functional neurological disorder, birth to age 21, gross motor delay, gait, and orthotic management. Julie services clients in Chinle and Flagstaff. Julie is married with five children. She enjoys learning new things, going fishing and hiking, and reading/writing. Julie is currently working with the American Physical Therapist Association to create clinical practice guidelines for idiopathic toe-walking. Additionally, she is starting a special needs musical theater group in Flagstaff. |
Corey Craig PT, DPT Corey attended Northern Arizona University to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Bachelor of Science in Theatre. Corey then obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy also from Northern Arizona University. Having practiced for over 4 years, Corey has worked as a PRN at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Tucson (6 months), as a Home Health Pediatric PT in Denver (2 years), and also has experience in aquatics and hippotherapy. Corey specializes in early intervention. Corey is providing services for early intervention and DDD clients in Flagstaff and Winslow, as well as providing school-based services in Chinle, Tuba City, Pinion, Leupp, and Hopi schools. Corey loves to help families reach their goals and to see kids become more confident in their abilities! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out at the boxing gym, watching various sporting events, and going to the movies. She loves animals of all kinds and has 2 sweet cat-babies of her own. |
Tom Cosner, PT Owner/Director Tom earned his Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University in Zoology and his Master of Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University. He has been practicing for twenty years and specializes in Physical Therapy with an emphasis on pediatrics, neurological and developmental disorders. He also has a strong interest in gait training, sensory integration, and play based therapy. Tom and his wife Shannon became the owners of NRTA in 2011. Together they work hard to make NRTA an innovative organization that provides quality therapy to individuals with special needs. They also have two wonderful daughters. |
Justin Hu, PT, DPT Justin earned a Bachelor of Science Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in 2018. He earned Minors in both Chemistry and Psychology. He earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2021. Justin started working at NRTA in April, 2022. Justin has experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. He especially loves working with families and kids. Justin travels to schools and does some clinic and home-based therapy and works with the Arizona Early Intervention program. He enjoys helping people work towards their goals. |
Alissa Jones, PT Alissa is a Physical Therapist here at NRTA. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. She has been providing physical therapy for 20 years, having worked with Horizon Home Health Care, Futures Education, and Banner Hospital. Alissa also has completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and in American Sign Language (ASL). She enjoys continuing to learn about Early Intervention, the Mobility Opportunities Via Education (MOVE) program, Reiki, Positive Behavioral Support (PBS), Sensory Needs, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism conferences. With NRTA, Alissa provides PT in Page, AZ and in the northwestern Navajo Nation. Alissa loves going on outdoor adventures, reading, gardening, and taking walks with her dogs and her husband. She enjoys living in Page and being part of that community. |
Lauryn Maxwell, PT, DPT Lauryn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. Lauryn loves working with kiddos 0-3 years old as part of the Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) as well as school age kiddos. She is passionate about empowering families with knowledge to better understand how to help their little ones achieve their goals. In her spare time, Lauryn enjoys hiking, dancing, writing, working out, and spending time with her husband and their puppy. |
Julie Stone, PT, DPT
Julie received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. She then earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina. Julie has practiced in a variety of forums, including working with children and senior citizens. She has also worked with Core Balance and a variety of rehab centers. Julie loves and cares for horses and has run equine therapy groups. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and golden retriever. |
